Soy el cuerpo extraño que mira is an audiovisual performance with editing and live music, one of the formats in which the broader project of Marta Azparren‘s Factory Diary project as part of the exhibition The Transparent Factory. An audiovisual project that reflects on the trace of industrial labour in artistic activity, based on the crossing of the gaze of Roberto Rossellini in “Europa’ 51”, with the thought of Simone Weil and her description of Fordist labour in her “Diario de fábrica”. Includes contributions linked to the Can Marfà Factory and the former Mataró Prison, documented especially for the occasion.

The overall Factory Diary project is presented as a collection of records, interviews, archival material, testimonies, gestures, videos, drawings, sounds, actions and reflections on the repeated gesture of the factory, which is thought of as a living audiovisual repository that can be reactivated and reworked in installations, live assembly sessions or performances.
