The call for short films is now open for the 7th edition of the Panòptic Festival, which will take place from 28 May to 1 June 2025 in the city of Mataró (Barcelona).
We are looking for audiovisual short films that address issues related to new technologies, the digital era and its impact on society. Fiction, animation or documentary works produced after 1 January 2024 are accepted. Works can be submitted in any language. The selection of short films for the official and non-competitive sections of the festival is based on artistic, thematic and technical criteria.
Entries for short films can be submitted from 10 December 2024 to 28 February 2025. The organisers will announce the participants of the Official Selection on 31st March 2025.
Among the selected short films, there will be a Jury’s Prize for the Best Short Film of 300 € and an Audience Award of 150 €, as well as several Special Mention diplomas.
