
The time has come to present the jury of the 7th edition of the Panòptic Festival. This dream team will be in charge of assessing the Official Short Film Section and choosing the winning film. Mònica Rovira is a filmmaker and researcher. She is part of the 1080 Collective, an audiovisual research group based at the Centre d’Art Santa Mònica. She is currently developing the new film ‘Them, The Water and Me’ promoted by La Virreina Image Centre.
María Ignacia Ibarra is a decolonial feminist activist and anthropology researcher. She has recently published the book ‘Tumbar la blanquitud. Ensayos urgentes sobre raza y colonialidad’ with Editorial Descontrol.
Daniel Pérez Pamies is a lecturer and researcher with the Research Group on the Origins of Cinema at the University of Girona. He is a member of the Girona Film Critics Collective, as well as of the selection and programming committee of the +RAIN Film Festival.
Mar Nantas is a screenwriter, director and teacher at ESCAC. She recently co-directed her first feature film, ‘La Revolución de las Musas o cómo posar sobre unas piedras desnuda’, with the support of the ICAA, and wrote the fiction short film ‘Lo Desencanto de Marta Martín’.
